All you have to be is just yourself

Have you ever had that feeling when you looked in the mirror that you weren't good enough? have you ever had those moments where you felt like no matter what you did there was no perfection or that you wish in an instance you were like some famous soul whom people love and adore?. Everyone has those moments where they think that their best is not good enough or try to imitate someone in order to feel good about themselves, or maybe close that empty void of dragging thoughts of hopelessness and confusion. Although most of us in society have moments where we face these challenges there seems to be only one way out of this whole dilemma and its, Just be yourself !.

Okay, that must sound like the most dullest thing to do right, if you're a teen you definitely agree with this. Why should you be your own person when you can be like some singer or sports player, why should you be your own person when people comment on your new hairstyle that looks like Ronaldo's, or that you lost 5 kilo's and you are on your way to looking like some model. The answer to that question is simple, That's not you!, that's not the real you who has all these features, the real you is trapped within you and that's why no matter how much we try to feel complete through imitation, we still aren't happy.

True happiness lies in accepting the real you and trying to find ways to enjoy yourself with your achievements and learning from your failures. You don't have to be a wanna be to happy because that's not you, that's you copying someone else's life. One of the beauties of the world is that we are all born different, no two people are exactly the same, not even twins. So why should we follow someone else's choice of life when we were not even created that way, is it because we fear difference and it seems weird to be the only one that stands out or because society just does this so I should be doing this because everyone else does this. Fair enough, many people especially teens think that way. Reaching the end of my teen years has lead me to think about these things as many teens who are in my age range are stuck with this idea that being like everyone is good because you'll be seen as a weirdo if you stand out.

Well whether we like it or not we are different in our own special way, if we all looked the same, liked similar things and thought the same way, the world would be a dull place to be in. Rather differences allows us to learn about each other as people, it allows us to learn about another's favourite colour, food, sport and many more. There is no competition, we all do things in our own special way and that's what makes you a Michael, Amanda, Ali, Muhammad, Raj, Ming Lee and much more.

Always look at what you can do more that what you cant do and embrace your failure's for greater success and just try it for once and be the regular you and see, trust me you will feel like a free soul. Always remember, all you have to do is be yourself. That's all those around you who care about you want you to be, a real person who experiences life in a real way and know that people do not define you, you define yourself in the world dictionary of people. So do you want to be remembered in that dictionary as a wanna be or a person, that choice belongs only to you.

Whatever choice you make in life make sure you conclude with this and always remember this,
ALL YOU HAVE TO BE IS JUST YOURSELF!
