Be Selfless

In life we always want what’s good and we want it in large proportions. However, how many of us want the same for another or even envy them when we do not get what they have, thinking we should get it too. Our lives come first and we want our lives to have everything we desire, as long as we are getting what we need, others are not much of a concern to us. Rather we would envy others if they get something we cannot get. This makes us selfish as we only see ourselves and ignore others, we use others as a means to get what we need and we throw them away when we cannot get what we need from them. Being selfish makes us lose more than what we get, those around us leave and desert us because they are worthless to us. They are there to help us reach our aims, once we have reached them, friends are no longer friends, families are deserted and the people we come in contact with are means for our personal gains. Our envies for others successes and achievements also play a role in our selfishness as everything good should be ours, if someone has it we should too. These traits make an individual lose those around them, lose self-control over their actions as selfishness has become their habit, it becomes the first way they deal with things. Being selfless makes us feel better as we consider others around us as individuals similar to us. We believe that they have certain ways and talents and we possess our own, this helps us acknowledge others successes and achievements. Being selfless strengthens our relations with others such as family and friends as we put them first before us instead of making ourselves first.
Being selfless helps our social interactions and personal state as selfishness comes with loneliness and difficulty to interact with others. So being selfless is important for our daily interactions.
