Take care of your inside as you do your out
In todays world, appearance is important. When we walk outside people judge us on the way we look, people you know comment on the way we look such as 'you lost weight' or gained a few kilos or even comment on the clothes you are wearing. However, very little concern is payed to character and moral standards, how we treat those around us is often looked over and nobody pays attention to how they treat others. We place so much concerns on our appearance that treating someone wrong is not a big deal and we commonly do it.
The question is why put so much emphasis in something that is fleeting. Our hair will turn grey, our bodies will become feeble and our faces will wrinkle, the beauty and the appearance we waste money to keep will fade and the only thing that will remain is our inside. Our character is how people judge us, even when we die we will be remembered for how we treated those in our lives and around us. Money you will leave behind and it will be inherited, fame but the fame that will follow you is the lifeline of your good deeds and kindness towards others. They will not remember you for your money or fame or appearance if you treated them badly, some people even rejoice at the death of a person who made their life terrible due to their bad character.
If this is the case then we should aim to take care of our character and the way we treat those around us. If fame, money and status is fleeting then we should try to reach for what does not fleet. Good character follows us through out our lives and even when we die. We know it is important because when we are kids we are taught to be polite, say please and thank you and respect those around us. As we grow this changes and improving our character is one of our priorities and this leads to poor character to develop.
Character is vital as it is what allows to live with people in a cohesive manner. It is essential for us as good character is a legacy that we can leave behind. taking care of your outside is important but the beauty of your good heart shines harder and eliminates your outside appearance. So Make sure to take of your inside as you do your out.
