Surround yourself with good people

As people, we love to surround ourselves with people. It makes us feel wanted and special but is it worth it to surround ourselves with everybody we meet. There is nothing wrong with surrounding ourselves with people but its got to be people worth spending time with. Not everybody is worth our time, some people don’t deserve to be given an extra minute while some people are worth the time. Here are some people who are worth our time and those that are not:

1. Respectable people

Respectable people do not necessarily mean people of wealth and status, but it can also be people with great characters and attitudes. Someone who respects those around them and always has a positive onlook to life is respectable and worth the time. They do their best to make the most of life, even if it looks like its not in their favour and they always have something positive to say. Such people always show that there is more to life than whats obvious and have a good character to to it up .

2. People who use time efficiently

As people, wasting time is such a hard challenge we struggle to overcome. We always aim to keep our time in check but it doesn’t seem to go the way we plan. Staying by people who know how to get their time in check can help us keep our time in check to because we do tend to copy our surroundings whether willingly or unwillingly. Staying with people who waste their time or encourage you to will make you fall out of place and leave you with a habit that can destroy your life.

3. Positive people

Staying with positive people is very important as positivity is crucial in our lives. Life throws the hardest of challenges at us and remaining firm and keeping a positive attitude gives us the confidence to move forward. Such people will remind you that you that very challenge has an end and makes us stronger and this forms as a motivation for us to move forward. Such people will also be supportive of you when you doubt yourself or are scared of trying something new. Negative people only scare you and tell you nothing is worth it and that your just wasting your time trying. Such people hold you back because they only instill fear and present a negative view of life.

4. A god-fearing person

A god-fearing person will always remind you that life is not just once but their is another where all of your actions will be judged. In Islam such a person will remind you that slandering, backbiting, cheating others and so-forth will be judged so to stay away from such actions. Such an individual will remind you that you have to keep your life in check as you will be judged and questioned and this will keep us in check as we know we will have to answer for our actions.

These are just some of the people you can surround yourself with to have a better onlook on life. Whether willingly or unwillingly we developed the attitudes of those around us so it is very important that we are taking are attitudes from those that will help us have a better view on life and ourselves.
