Multiple sclerosis part 2

Having an illness can be difficult because you feel on and off and sometimes seeing the life
changes in your daily life can be difficult. As people we want to be at best health so we can
continue to do the things we do. Having an illness or disease is not a bad thing rather it is a new
adventure. When you have an illness or disease you learn new skills to manage and do the
things you use to do. You learn to prioritize and how to do things at set times because your
symptoms can occur at any time. You learn to be thankful and contemplate on the many
blessings in your life. You realize many blessing that you took for granted and ignored and see
how the little things you overlook is the most important in your life. How many of us are actually thankful and aware of our good health and use it to the best of our ability to help ourselves and others with it? not many of us. If we did we would use it the we should our good health and not play with it as something that will last forever.

You learn patience because you know that someone else is in a worse condition than you. This
teaches you that you are not the worst person in a terrible condition which we oftenly believe
when we are diagnosed with something.

You learn to sympathize with others in a similar condition or worse because you feel what they
feel. Other times when people say something sad about their or another's condition we feel sad
and wish them the best. However, when you go through a similar condition, you relate to this
person and feel for them as if what they are saying is happening to you. You understand what
they are saying and you give them a piece of your heart as support.
People with disabilities or illnesses are very skilled people and know to do the things everyday
people can do but in their own unique style. So if you have any form of illness or disability,
embrace it because you are very skilled and learn a lot of skills that help you keep up with the
things you used to do but your own exciting style.
